The Sacred Icons of Goa collection brings together detailed watercolour paintings inspired by the deities worshipped across Goa’s temples and churches.

The series includes a wide range of male and female temple deities, each carefully interpreted through colour, form and intricate detailing. It also features paintings of Jesus Christ and Mother Mary, reflecting Goa’s enduring spiritual and cultural traditions.

Every artwork is an original watercolour painting, individually hand-painted by veteran Mumbai-based Goan artist Raj Halankar, former Professor at the Sir J.J. School of Applied Art, Mumbai.

As each painting is created individually and availability changes as artworks are sold, all deities may not be visible online at a given time. Paintings of specific deities can also be commissioned on request. Please contact us to discuss customisation and availability.
