Antiques of Goa – Original Watercolour Paintings

This series celebrates objects once commonly found in Goan homes, including the Lamandivo, Buyau, Garafão, traditional measuring vessels, hanging lamps, ceramic jars, carved wooden pieces and Tabul Fhal, an ancient Goan board game.

For many, these paintings may bring back memories of ancestral homes, old kitchens and objects used by earlier generations.

Each artwork is an original hand-painted watercolour by Professor Halankar, a veteran Mumbai-based Goan artist and former professor at the Sir J.J. School of Applied Art, a part of our studio since inception.
