Handcrafted Openable Goan Window - Spokes

A collection of original watercolour paintings depicting Goa’s temples from different viewpoints, each capturing their distinctive architecture, surroundings and spiritual presence.

The series is painted by Professor Raj Halankar, a veteran Goan artist based in Mumbai and formerly associated with the J.J. School of Applied Art. Through his work with Goa Decor, he has documented Goa’s temples, heritage buildings, landscapes and cultural life.

For Goans living away from home, these paintings often hold a personal connection to their family deity, village temple and childhood memories. Original paintings of specific temples may also be commissioned on request.
