Monuments of Goa — Original Monochrome Watercolour Art
The Monuments of Goa collection captures some of Goa’s most recognisable historic structures through a restrained black-and-white palette.
Featuring landmarks such as the Viceroy’s Arch, Basilica of Bom Jesus and Mahadev Temple, the series brings together monuments that reflect different periods of Goa’s architectural and cultural history. Rendered in monochrome watercolour, each composition highlights the form, detail and character of these enduring structures.
Each artwork is an original watercolour painting, individually hand-painted by veteran Mumbai-based Goan artist Raj Halankar, former Professor at the Sir J.J. School of Applied Art, Mumbai.
Overall size with mount: Approximately 40 × 31 cm
